Information on the disposal of electronic devices:
Electrical and electronic devices must not be disposed of with household waste. They must be placed in a separate collection so that valuable raw materials can be recycled and substances hazardous to the environment and health can be disposed of properly. The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin on the product, in the user manual or on the packaging indicates that old electrical devices must be collected separately from unsorted household waste. If the old device contains batteries or rechargeable batteries, these must be removed before disposal and disposed of separately. Non-removable (built-in) rechargeable batteries will be removed properly as part of the waste appliance’s treatment.

To return old devices, please contact us at help@beyerdynamic.de with the subject line “Return of old appliances / ElektroG” and let us know that an old device is to be returned. Regardless of whether you purchase a new device, we will take back a maximum of three old devices as small devices (max. 25 cm edge length) free of charge. Our reply will contain information on the return process (e.g. return label).
Alternatively, old devices can be handed in free of charge at local collection points or recycling centres.

Information on the disposal of used batteries and rechargeable batteries:
Many headphones contain batteries or rechargeable batteries. These must not be disposed of with household waste. The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol indicates that batteries and rechargeable batteries must be collected separately from household waste. Used batteries and rechargeable batteries can be returned free of charge, for example at retail take-back points, at local collection points or to us.

You can return used batteries and rechargeable batteries to us in normal household quantities. Please contact us at help@beyerdynamic.de with the subject line “Battery return / BattG”.
We will then inform you of a suitable return option.

Please note the following when returning items:
- Damaged or swollen batteries must not be sent by post.
- Where possible, protect the terminals against short circuits (e.g. by taping over the contacts) and collect them separately.
