Thanks to the low-impedance STELLAR.45 driver, the MMX 300 PRO can used on all devices such as PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Operation on consoles is ensured with the Y adapter, which comes together with the headset.

Clear voice transmission can be crucial in some gaming moments. We know this. That's why we drew on our many years of microphone expertise to get the most out of the built-in condenser microphone. Every shot call is true to the voice and simply pleasant. With the extended frequency range from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, the highs and lows are particularly precisely balanced.

The combination of design and comfort makes the MMX 300 PRO the perfect gaming headset for demanding gamers. The new design is characterised by precise edges, an improved design language and maximum ergonomics. To further optimise our proven wearing comfort, we have added a fontanelle recess and a convenient snap-button closure to the head pad – features that can also be found in our studio headphones. Because maximum comfort is essential: not only in the professional studio environment, but also in extended gaming sessions.

We have been known for our audio products “Made in Germany” for a century. The MMX 300 PRO is no exception. With high-quality materials, careful workmanship and a spring steel headband core, the headset is designed to be used for years. This is also where our service comes in: We offer earpads, headband and cables as replacement parts for many years.
DESIGN YOUR VERY OWN GAMING HEADSET
Design the MMX 300 PRO in our MANUFAKTUR exactly the way you want it to be. Earpads, a decorative ring, a picture of your choice on the earcup, or even a personalised engraving on the yoke: it's all up to you. Your very personal gaming headset is manufactured by hand at the company's location in Heilbronn.
Yes, the MMX 300 PRO works with PS5, PS4, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and other consoles using 3.5 mm connectivity.
If the adapter solution is too cumbersome for you, you can optionally purchase the 1.2 m long console cable.
We improved the MMX 300 PRO in a lot of regards compared to its predecessor MMX 300 (2nd generation). Already its name makes it obvious that beyerdynamic included a lot of professional studio attributes in the MMX 300 PRO. The headband is of high quality and can be easily used with our professional products. Thanks to its low weight and special adaptation to the upper head area, it offers excellent wearing comfort over an extended period. When it comes to sound, beyerdynamic improved the headset in terms of microphone input as well as driver output using the studio-grade STELLAR.45 driver. We also updated the design to a more edgy look and feel.
All three models are similar in terms of their mechanical and acoustic quality. The numbers 880 and 990 do not provide any indication of higher or lower quality. The models do, however, differ significantly in their playback in terms of acoustic design and frequency response.
The MMX 200 wireless is a wireless headset offering very good audio as well as very good wearing comfort. The microphone and driver quality of the MMX 300 PRO are of even higher standard and the headband with included fontanelle recess, derived from our studio headphones, also offers extra comfort. The MMX 300 PRO is made in Germany while the MMX 200 wireless is made in China.
