Our beyerdynamic drivers are the meta pick in premium studio-quality sound. That much is proven by the MMX 100’s high-resolution sound. The 40mm drivers built into the MMX have been specially optimised for gaming by our acoustic engineers.

This results in a clearer and more precise sound that can be heard across all genres: in FPS games you profit from a precise sound localisation, which gives you a notable advantage in a range of situations. RPGs feel even more realistic thanks to the distinct sound.

Sophisticated design
for hours of comfort

The MMX 100 combines the classic beyerdynamic aesthetic with a functionality that really matters in gaming. The aluminium band holds the headset together and guarantees durability and a premium look. To prevent pressure points on the head, the band is fitted with memory foam cushioning encased in artificial leather. The memory-foam-filled artificial leather ear pads guarantee comfort for hours on end, and they can be swapped even more quickly and easily thanks to a bayonet mechanism.

When should I choose the MMX 100 and when should I choose the MMX 150?

The MMX 100 is the right choice if you play a lot on the gaming console and want to connect via the controller. If you have a very good sound card, we recommend the MMX 100. If the additional features of the MMX 150 (Augmented Mode, Mute LED) are very important to you, you should rather use this one.
The MMX 150 has its strength in the USB connection. In any case, you will enjoy the sound in optimal quality and benefit from the Augmented Mode. The MMX 150 is therefore particularly suitable for PC or for Switch and Playstation, if the respective USB socket can be reached accordingly.

How do the buttons on the MMX 100 work?

Use the wheel to control the volume. The button controls the mute mode of the microphone. When the button is almost flush with the ear shell, the microphone is active. If the button sticks out, the microphone is muted. So you can easily feel the status of the microphone without having to take off the headphones.

How do the MMX 100 and MMX 150 sound??

The MMX 100 and MMX 150 share the same acoustic design. The sound can be best described as vivid and detailed. You can expect a powerful bass and clear treble with very good spaciousness. No matter if it’s fast-paced action, atmospheric sounds or speech: the MMX 100 and MMX 150 bring the sound of your games to life.

Will the MMX 150 and MMX 100 work with PS5 or XBOX SERIES X?

The MMX 100 is best connected to the Xbox or Playstation controller. The MMX 150 can be connected to the Playstation via USB or the controller.
