beyerdynamic gets personal: MAKE IT YOURS at High End 2018
With new and innovative products the audio experts from Heilbronn, Germany, completely redefine the listening experience. The future of headphones becomes individual and dynamic.
Heilbronn, April 10, 2018 – beyerdynamic changes the rules on how music listening has to be: the future of headphones is digital and individual, true to the claim MAKE IT YOURS. With innovative sound personalization by Mimi Hearing Technologies and the beyerdynamic Make It Yours app (MIY app), the German audio specialists have created a new generation of mobile headphone technology that puts everything else in the shade. The new wireless family from beyerdynamic turns the headphone market upside down: it combines the unlimited mobility of wireless models with outstanding sound quality. The latter has been a trademark of wired beyerdynamic headphones with Tesla technology. But ground-breaking headphones like the Aventho wireless, Xelento wireless or Amiron wireless are just the beginning. From 10 to 13 May 2018, journalists and trade fair visitors at the High End 2018 in Munich can experience all the breath-taking innovations from beyerdynamic for themselves.
Aventho wireless – an award-winning pioneer
At last year's IFA, beyerdynamic laid the foundation for a new generation of headphones with the closed mid-size Aventho wireless. Due to its timeless, mobile design, select materials, Tesla transducers and support for Qualcomm® aptX™ HD and AAC, Aventho wireless is the perfect companion for audiophile music lovers. Enthusiastic reviews by the media and a number of renowned awards speak for themselves. Aventho wireless received the CES 2018 Innovation Award, the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2018 and this year's AUDIO Innovation Award. Only true milestones in audio engineering receive this coveted award at the "Golden Ear" awards ceremony in Munich.
The new individuality: Mimi sound personalization
What makes the Aventho wireless and the other new wireless headphones from beyerdynamic stand out is their individual sound personalization. With this innovative technology by Mimi Hearing Technologies, the outstanding wireless beyerdynamic headphones are dynamically adjusted to the personal hearing capability of their owner. Even the finest nuances become perceivable again without having to turn up the volume – as if the hearing had been rejuvenated. Better hearing and protecting the ears at the same time: with beyerdynamic wireless headphones, this is no longer a contradiction
Better music listening – for a lifetime
A six-minute hearing test in the free beyerdynamic "Make It Yours" app for iOS and Android is sufficient to calculate an individual hearing profile. The data is stored directly in the headphones so that the digital sound personalization works independently of the audio source. If the test is carried out on a regular basis, even the tiniest changes in hearing can be compensated. All music sounds as perfect as it should – every day and everywhere. At the same time, the MIY app allows users to record their daily listening habits and make various other settings on the headphones to improve and personalize them even further.
Xelento wireless – an ultra-mobile sound miracle
With the Xelento wireless, another top-class mobile headphone by beyerdynamic benefits from individual sound personalization. The light in-ear model not only amazes listeners with highest workmanship and material quality, but also with a compact, sophisticated design: despite the tiny dimensions, the engineers from Heilbronn have succeeded in equipping the Xelento wireless with the same legendary Tesla drivers that the best beyerdynamic headphones use. In combination with Mimi sound personalization via the MIY app, this Bluetooth headphones achieve a sound quality previously unknown from in-ear models.
Amiron wireless – maximum mobility at home
The latest coup from the engineers at beyerdynamic is the ear-enclosing Amiron wireless. It combines the amazing freedom of wireless headphones with flawless sound reproduction, the trademark of the Tesla technology by beyerdynamic. These closed Bluetooth headphones can also be individually adjusted via the MIY app for dynamic sound personalization, regardless of the audio source. At the same time, they also meet the highest standards in terms of design, ergonomics and features. In addition to codecs such as Qualcomm® aptX™ HD and Apple AAC, the Amiron wireless also supports low-delay transmission with aptX™ LL, making it ideally suited for use with modern televisions.
