The MCS-D 202 interpreter station can be connected anywhere in the system. Any number of MCS-D 202 for a maximum of 53 target languages can be used per language and booth. The access to the audio channels can be configured according to the application. For operation a gooseneck microphone and headphone or a headset can be used. The user interface is ergonomical with clearly arranged functional areas. Fully electronic and silent buttons with switching points allow comfortable use with the microphone station. The microphone station features a monitoring loudspeaker with volume control, two displays (16 characters / 2 lines) to show the menu and selected languages; output buttons for channel A and B; operating control LED, treble, bass and volume control; buttons for direct contact with the chairman or technician and cough button. The interpreting functions are integrated into the MCS-D 200 conference system, i.e. an additional control unit is not required. Interpreting functions such as available channels, groups, pre-programming of the output channels A and B are configured via the MCS-D 200 control unit. The interpreter station is powered by the bus cable and can be placed anywhere in the bus network. The interpreter station meets the requirements of the AIIC (Association Internationale des Interprètes de Conférence - International Association of Interpreters) and the appropriate standards (ISO 4043, ISO 2603, DIN 56924).
